Consequence

1^st absence in a week

Student is assigned mandatory Friday school. 

2^nd and 3^rd absences in a week

Student shall make-up time during 4^th hour and on Friday(s).  Make-up time may extend into multiple consecutive weeks.  Friday School will be mandatory until all make-up work is completed and handed in.

4^th absence during a block

Student is dropped from enrollment until the beginning of the next block.

·      Students are considered absent when they enter class more than 15 minutes after the beginning of class.

·      All assignments and assessments, including make-up work, must be completed and handed in by the last day of each block.

·      Students who fail to attend an assigned Friday School will be marked absent.

·      Single period absences require 2 hours of make-up time.

Consequence

1^st tardy of a day

Mandatory attendance of 4^th hour on the day of the tardy.

2 or more tardies in one day

Mandatory attendance of 4^th hour on the day of the tardies.

Student must spend one hour in 4^th hour and/or Friday school for each tardy.  All make-up time for tardies must be completed by the end of the week or the student will be dropped until the beginning of the next block.

5^th tardy in one week

Student is dropped from enrollment until the beginning of the next block.

·      Each tardy requires a full hour of make-up time.

·      Students who fail to attend an assigned 4^th period or Friday School are dropped from enrollment.

·      Students get a clean start at the beginning of each week.

·      Students who are enrolled at SVHS and those who have a work schedule during 4^thhour must make up tardy time on Friday of the week of the infraction.
